Well, the “celebrating in the streets” won’t last long. The overthrowing body proclaims that they did it to under the repression of military dictatorship.
Yet, they’ve set up a military council to rule the country. This is the problem with Africa, they go from one dictatorship to another. I can only hope that this dictatorship won’t be as bad as the last– thought it probably won’t be pretty.
Democracy needs to annex Africa after we’re done with the Middle East. There’s so much poverty and suffering there. The citizens of this country and all the others don’t deserve a falsely-colored macabre parade of dictatorships. They need something real.
